Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the national weather service, publishes the hourly reports of about five hundred automatic stations, from the Pacific coast to Newfoundland and from the US border to Nunavut. The 92 stations below are the nearest station to the largest number of towns and places on this site, grouped by province and territory (13 in all); every province and territory is represented. Each report gives air temperature, wind, gusts, precipitation, humidity and pressure.
Canada is huge and the network is sparse in the north: this site only shows a station's report on a town page when the station is within 150 km, and always states the distance, the station's elevation and the time of the measurement (local time of the station).

How to read these measurements
Temperatures are measured in a ventilated shelter about 1.5 m above the ground, so they can differ by a few degrees from a car or balcony thermometer, especially on clear, calm nights.
Wind is the ten-minute average at a height of 10 m. Gusts are only reported when they are notable, so a dash does not mean calm. Precipitation is the amount that fell over the past hour, rain or melted snow, and pressure is reduced to mean sea level so that stations at different elevations can be compared.
Reports arrive about half an hour after the hour and have not been checked by a forecaster: an obviously wrong value, or a dash for a missing one, is possible. A station that has not reported for more than three hours is not shown.
