Julia, weather-canada.com editorial team

Julia writes the weather guides for the editorial team of weather-canada.com, published by Meteo-suisse (Genève).

The guides explain the weather of Canada place by place: what causes a phenomenon, where and in which months it occurs, what the official climate normals say, and what to do about it. Every figure in a guide comes from a public source, listed at the end of the guide with a link: the national weather service, avalanche, environment and tourism bodies, and the 1991–2020 climate normals.

The guides are written and checked by hand, and each one shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. The forecasts on the town pages, by contrast, are computed automatically from weather models. Neither replaces the official warnings of the national weather service.

Spotted an error or an outdated figure? Write to contact@weather-canada.com: corrections are made in the guide and its update date changes.
